Bereavement Services
Grief is a normal response to loss, including all the emotional responses that are a part of healing. Grief is unique and different for each person, and recovery is a process that requires time and caring. Grief lasts longer than most people expect, and we may need support beyond what family and friends can provide. The support groups provided by RMH are based upon the premise that healing is facilitated by sharing one’s grief and by receiving the support of others. RMH offers grief support to anyone in the community experiencing loss due to death, even if your loved one was not a Russell-Murray Hospice patient. All support groups are open to the public and are free of charge.
Support groups are offered at various locations throughout our service area. Groups provide a safe and supportive environment to talk about thoughts and feelings, and to find support with others who are sharing similar experiences.
